I am a dedicated advocate for intellectual rigor and critical inquiry. My academic and vocational journey has been profoundly shaped by the words of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., particularly his seminal sermon, “A Tough Mind and a Tender Heart.” In it, Dr. King declares:
“Rarely do we find people who willingly engage in hard, solid thinking. There is an almost universal quest for easy answers and half-baked solutions. Nothing pains some people more than having to think.”
These words ignited in me a lifelong commitment to intellectual excellence and a pursuit of substantive, critical thought in service of the greater good.
My professional focus centers on producing rigorous thought leadership at the intersection of faith, family, fitness, finance, and furthering the gospel, anchored in a commitment to local justice and transformative social engagement. As a scholar-practitioner, I have authored several works contributing to this discourse, including The Power From The Pew, Social Justice and Social Change Devotional, and Talk Back Blackman. Through these writings and related scholarship, I seek to challenge assumptions, elevate marginalized voices, and inspire holistic change grounded in spiritual and intellectual truth.
